Yes, here's a character with a big hand, glad handing everyone he meets. 

The caricature of the consummate politician Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ), 36th president of the U.S., was the most famous character of Pandemonia to come to the attention of the media and general public. He is my least favorite inhabitant of Pandemonia (and in some ways the most perplexing). Kelly had his reasons to bring LBJ into this prehistoric fairy tale, but it certainly changes the atmosphere.

This unicorn is lovingly drawn, probably the consistently finest depiction of the creature that I've ever seen.

This Unicorn shows up a lot, for no apparent reason, and is—well—beautiful.

We're Twins, Y'know

'Sfunny how sometimes you look at something and don't really see it. I've read and reread these strips over the years and yet just now saw the 'charioteer' in the background. Entirely unnecessary for the panel, but an extra dimension of Pandemonian hustle-bustle. The leaping dinosaurs also lend kinetic energy to otherwise static panels.
