Seefy Nose Thissun

Things don't have to be in Pandemonia for the art to be fun and complex.

Thanks to Michel Francois for again sending over some original art files found on the internet. The resolution, unfortunately, is not enough for us to see the process, but still the blue lines help to remind us that Kelly's art was realized directly on the bristol board, not traced in on a lightbox from sketches. It's astounding that such complex compositions could be conceptualized spontaneously, proportioned correctly, with proper perspective and story detail jammed together in such a fun and artistic manner.

Love the simple spider web added for the book.

Have I told you how much I admire Walt Kelly?
