The Martian Candidate


Here's a case where you can really see the difference between original art (below) and the printed strip on newsprint (above). The delicate shading lines either drop out or fill in, any refinement is lost, and the newspaper people jammed the panels closer together and altered some border lines. You can sure see why book reprint editors want original art or good proof prints.
