Wasn't this right around the time of the whole "Chariots of the Gods' reawakened interest in UFOs and abductions? I chuckle to think of Kelly poking fun at the theorists by showing a soaring straw hat!
ReplyDeleteYes, this was around the time of Chariots of the Gods, which I remember taking an interest in. And it wasn't just reawakened INTEREST, it was a huge time of waves of UFO sightings and reportings. At this time the Condon Report was an ongoing investigation.
