Long time readers of Pogo, back in '66, must have dropped their jaw to open their paper and see this page for the first time. Even when I was sort of expecting it, having been clued in by Kelly months before, it was still a mind-blower after years of the same ol' swamp critters.

LSD indeed. I wonder what brand of see-gar Kelly was smoking.
